Backup as a Service (BaaS)
Your business is only as good as your data. InterVision’s Backup as a Service (BaaS) offers you the ability to backup data to a shared cloud-based infrastructure. It scales with your data needs and you never have to worry about the number of tapes needed.
Controlling your backup and restores is easy with a self-service portal with backup agents for necessary applications, secure multi-tenant enabled shared infrastructure, management and support of the backup process and environment. Our BaaS offering allows you to leverage our infrastructure to support a hybrid model including on-premise, in InterVision’s cloud and in some cases, other providers’ cloud services. BaaS supports any Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac, AIX or Solaris operating systems. Applications supported include Exchange, SQL, SAP, Oracle, Sharepoint, Domino, Active Directory and MySQL. It is fully customizable to meet the necessary requirements for recovery.
BaaS enables you to send data to its cloud platform via a managed backup service. Normally the media appliance is positioned on-premise at customer location, where data is backed up using our enterprise solution, Commvault® using deduplication technology with either 128 or 256 bit ciphers to ensure data security. Data is then sent via internet or mpls to a secure InterVision data center of your choice in St. Louis or Denver.
